Since 2005, New Sun Rising has empowered creative individuals in the Pittsburgh region to successfully accomplish the projects of their dreams by providing mentoring, access to funding sources, encouragement and fiscal sponsorship.
Through inspired collaboration, New Sun Rising project leaders are encouraged to work together on fundraising and advocacy efforts. If a passionate individual steps forward with dreams to enhance the social, cultural, or economic landscape in the Pittsburgh area, New Sun Rising will be the catalyst to see the project through to fruition.
New Sun Rising is about to embark on a whole new era of sponsoring grassroots projects in our region.
In 2013, New Sun Rising will carry a new image, empowered mission and vision, and fresh leadership. We look forward to your support when we hit the ground running in January.
We’d like to host a capstone project in 2012 and we need your help to find the perfect candidate or worthy venture.
New Sun Rising is issuing a call for proposals for the remainder of 2012. We will choose one project to receive the dedication and mentorship of our eager board members as we close out our fiscal year.
